Print Portfolio
The customer needed a clean looking web site and printed material that was complimentary to the overall design.
A small commercial site for the Adventure tourism sector.
Small and fast loading, this site is simple in design yet functional.
What first started as a job for a simple graphic to be 'cleaned up', ended up as a full blown website and custom built Flash animation with sound.
Originally a 'personal web site', the customer was not happy with his original design and contacted Web Werqs to re-design the entire site. We saw the potential of his hobby as an income opportunity and designed the site and changed the content to best portray it as such. After submission to search engines he now has more requests than he can handle for his services.
Another happy customer!
McNicols Transmission and Performance
McNicols Transmission and Performance, a small business site that specializes in performance engine and transmission repairs and installation.
The 'map page' incorporates Google maps to show the precise location for customers outside the Yarmouth County area.
Paw4Kate is a non-profit site that utilizes a custom coded PHP guest book. It uses IFrames or (inline frames) which calls upon separate web pages to be shown within the main page. This is why you get a vertical scroll bar to the right. It also has a small Flash file (on the 'Thank-You' page) which allows you to play a sound file and also offers you the opportunity to shut off the sound.
Argyle Township Court House and Archives ~ ATCHA
This web site was a college work term project. The original site was 280 pages in size and the content, although plentiful, was not presented in a way that made it easy to find specific data. Some pages had excessive amounts of content on them. I felt that breaking the content into smaller, more easily manageable portions would help in retrieving data from the site quicker.
The site now has over 500 pages of content.
The tour section on the original site consisted of a few small pictures and some text. The site now has multiple virtual tours, complete with detailed floor plans so that the viewer knows exactly where they are in the building. Hot spots in the tours give descriptions as to what they are viewing.
A Newspaper vital statistics database was also incorporated into the site. Forms for ordering information from the database, gift shop, back issues of their quarterly news letter The Argus and membership to the Argyle Municipality Genealogical and Historical Society were also created and data is sent via email to the proper contact persons.
This site makes extensive use of PHP programming for both navigation, database information retrieval and forms.
Try A Temp is a local employment services business offering services to both employers and potential employees. TryATemp will find suitable employees for jobs that local employers post with TryATemp. A small but easily navigable web site based on CSS and XHTML, it is minimalistic but has the ability for expansion at a later date when more services can be offered.
The site makes use of PDF forms for both employeers and potential employees which can be filled out and submitted on-line to Try A Temp.
Riverdale75.com is an alumni web site for the graduation class of Riverdale High School, Pierrefonds Quebec. This site is CSS intensive right down to the navigation buttons.
Clean and 'fresh looking', this site has had many great reviews from the alumni.
